School Lunch Menu | September 2026 | Breakfast and Lunch
The September 2026 school lunch menu is here. Below you’ll find the full breakfast, K–8, and 9–12 calendars, day by day, from Tuesday, September 1 through Wednesday, September 30.
As a private school serving students , we publish the school lunch menu in advance so families across Opa-locka, Miami Gardens, North Miami, Miramar, Hollywood, Miami Lakes, Aventura, and Sunny Isles Beach can plan ahead.
Why This Menu Works for Every Learner
A published menu removes guesswork. You know which mornings your child will happily eat pancakes and which mornings a packed backup makes more sense. That predictability matters for every student, and enormously for students on the spectrum.
Nutrition That Powers Focused Learning
Every meal is prepared by Sergio’s Catering to meet federal meal-pattern requirements under the National School Lunch Program (link: https://www.fna.usda.gov/nslp) — a protein, a grain, fruit, vegetables, and milk in the right portions for each grade band.
Sensory-Friendly by Design
Texture, temperature, and color drive food acceptance. The school lunch menu deliberately mixes familiar anchors like chicken nuggets and cheeseburgers with Caribbean and Latin dishes such as ropa vieja and arroz moro.
Quick Reference
- Milk is offered with every breakfast and lunch, daily.
- “x2” on the 9–12 menu means a double portion.
- Substitutions are posted at the cafeteria entrance that morning.
Complete Breakfast Menu — September 2026
Breakfast is published alongside the school lunch menu so you can plan the whole day in one look. Hot and cold options alternate, so students who prefer cold, low-aroma food always have mornings that work.

K–8 School Lunch Menu — September 2026
Portions follow the K–8 meal pattern. Every tray includes an entrée, a grain, fruit, a vegetable.

9–12 School Lunch Menu — September 2026
High school students receive larger portions. Entrées mirror the K–8 calendar most days, with picadillo on the 14th and pasta with meat sauce on the 24th.

Why Portions Differ by Grade?
Federal meal patterns set different minimums for K–8 and 9–12, which is why we publish two calendars instead of one combined school lunch menu.
Essential Allergy and Special-Diet Guidance
Several dishes contain milk, wheat, egg, or soy. If your child has a documented allergy, we need a medical statement signed by a physician listing the food to omit and an acceptable substitute.
Once it’s on file, the kitchen builds a compliant tray every service day at no extra cost. Send documents through our front office contact page.
A federal rule effective June 2026 removed milkfat restrictions, so whole and reduced-fat milk are now permitted alongside low-fat and fat-free. Details are in the FDACS menu planning guidance (link: https://www.fdacs.gov/Food-Nutrition/Nutrition-Programs/National-School-Lunch-Program/Menu-Planning-and-Meal-Service).
Florida’s income guidelines run July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 and are published by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (link: https://www.fdacs.gov/Food-Nutrition/Nutrition-Programs/National-School-Lunch-Program).
